Owner of Beechwood Cricket Club (which makes him fully liable), the Rt Hon Keith Makin is a unique part of the club, and has been for the past 72 years (ok, maybe not that many). He has created a phenomenon called the "Makin Effect", where you miss him terribly on the weeks he can't play, but when he does play everyone wishes he wasn't!
For someone who didn't like metropolitan grounds, Keith is doing very well enjoying metropolitan life in the Docklands, however, we're assured this is a temporary arrangement until his country manor is finally finished. His cockney is coming along nicely though, and his late-night text messages are a perfect example of him being permanently as ripped as a newt.
