Having been kindly relieved from the obvious burden of captain for this year, Captain, sorry Private Woodward will hopefully have a more enjoyable and less injury-prone time of things for the 2007 season, and we can once again regain the maniac with the new ball. It would be fair to say Ashley is in the top 25% of Beechwood Eccentrics (a new club name perhaps?).
He recently moved from Lower Chislehurst to Upper Sevenoaks, and this has meant a car-pool of one, and more of the beer-jug for everyone else at the club after a game! Ashley is one of the last-remaining league players in the side, and as we speak, his agent is linking his name to some of Kent's finest clubs! |
